Oxford United winger in Republic squad
Oxford United winger Callum O’Dowda, has been included in the Republic of Ireland’s U21 squad for the forthcoming International friendly games versus England C and England U21.
The first game, against England C, takes place at Eamonn Deacy Park, Galway on Monday 1st June. The Irish squad then fly to England to take on the England under-21 side at St. Georges Park on Friday 5th June.
Callum, United’s young player of the year, made his Ireland debut in the 1-0 win over Andorra in March and told us:
“I really enjoyed being part of the squad last time. It was a fantastic experience and it is an honour to be involved. I’m really looking forward to being part of it again.”
