TEAM NEWS
Armand Gnanduillet goes straight into the squad as United welcome Morecambe in Sky Bet League 2 tonight (7.45pm).

The 6' 4" Chesterfield striker joined on loan yesterday and is likely to be on the bench as the U's look to build on a win over Mansfield and a draw at Portsmouth in their last two games.

"We talked about a fifteen game season before the Mansfield match" said Head Coach Michael Appleton "I take my hat off to the players because the attuitude and performances have been spot on since then.  We have looked pretty solid in defence and dangerous going forward and players are playing well because they know there are players pushing for their shirts at the moment."

Andy Whing, ruled out with a hip problem on Saturday, could be back in contention as could Will Hoskins who is now fully fit once more.

See Michael Appleton talking about the game in Yellow Player, where we also have a great Preview Show featuring Michael Collins and Josh Ruffels

THE OPPOSITION
Morecambe won the corresponding game at the Globe Arena 1-0 earlier in the season but boss Jim Bentley admits to being impressed by the U's that night. “They were excellent" he said.“We got the victory on the night but they really popped it round and were a good footballing side. They’re a big club with good players but for one reason or another the results haven’t followed.

“It’s a big task for us going down there though and we’ve got to make sure we’re right and do more than we did at the weekend to try and get points on the board.”

Bentley has a fully fit squad to choose from at the moment
