Keeper flies out to join England Squad
Oxford United Women's Goalkeeper Demi Lambourne has been called up to the England U19 squad as they prepare for the summer's 2015 European Championships in Israel.
Demi, 19, has been with the U's for the last five years and has progressed through the Girls Centre of Excellence to become first choice keeper for the U's in WSL2.
Manager Les Taylor said:
"We are delighted for Demi. She has worked very hard at her game and done really well for us. She has featured in a couple of training camps with the England squad and fully deserves her call up for these games."
The England U19s face a double header against France with the first of two fixtures against their fellow European Championship finalists taking place on Wednesday at the Municipal Stadium in Boru - kick off 4:30pm.
The second will take place on Friday at the Jacques Couvret Stadium in Chartres - kick off 11:00am.
