A fan pack for those travelling to SC Wiener Neustadt to watch the U's
Next week’s game against SC Wiener Neustadt in Austria seems to have caught the imagination of Oxford United fans.
The U’s will be backed by a fantastic number of fans who are taking the rare opportunity to see United play abroad and there are a number of ways to make the experience even better.

If you are making the trip then there is a matchday party in Clumsy’s English Pub in Wiener Neustadt. Starting at 4pm and continuing after the game, Clumsy’s will have the 1986 Milk Cup Final and 2010 Play-Off Finals being shown on big screens and a pool table, table football and snacks available.

The following day there is an open training session in the afternoon where fans can come to the training camp and watch the players go through their paces in a full session. This will take place between 2.30 and 4pm and there will be the opportunity to meet the players afterwards. If you wish to attend the open training session then join us at viva Landessportzentrum, Industriegelände 1, 2491 Steinbrunn/Neue Siedlung. Local buses run from from Wiener Neustadt to Neufeld/Leitha Strandbad, which is close to the training complex.
(Please note that although Wednesday is an open training session all other training will be closed to the public)
It is then just a ten minute walk to a nearby lake at Neufeld where the players and staff will be joining fans for a barbecue and drinks. This will be 16 euros per person. The easiest way of getting to the lake direct from Wiener Neustadt is the bus from the bus station to Neufel/Leitha Standbad, which should take about half an hour. Follow the signs to the lake and the barbecue will be by the restaurant close to the entrance.
