You can also get live match updates from our official Twitter account: @OUFCOfficial, where we will be the first to bring you today's Oxford United team news.

If you are unable to make the game you can still be part of the match day by downloading a copy of today's programme from www.matchdayfix.com/oufc, where you can read an in-depth interview with left-back Joe Skarz, take part in our prize competitions, and catch up with former U's goalkeeper Alan Judge, who is today's guest of honour.

You can also read the thoughts of chairman Darryl Eales and captain Jake Wright. In the programme, Michael Appleton says:

"It doesn’t matter how many seasons you spend in football, there is always a very special buzz around the opening game.  All of the plans you made over the summer, all the hard work that the staff and players have put in, and all of the expectations of the fans come together at three o’clock today as we kick off against Crawley Town.

"Looking back over pre-season I think we are more than happy with the way things have gone, on and off the pitch. We started with a trip to RAF Benson for a couple of days of team bonding that really helped settle the new faces in to the group. It was interesting to see who took the lead in a lot of situations and I was pleased to see so many players prepared to take the initiative and lead from the front.

"We have added a little bit of quality to a squad that finished last season so strongly and we have now got serious competition for every single position. I believe we have a squad that is ready to challenge throughout the coming months.

"We have the whole season ahead of us and a long, long way to go but we know that your support will never waver and we can count on you to get behind us in every single game between now and May. Let’s start as we mean to go on, with a win and three points."

We will have a full-time match report right here as soon as the final whistle is blown, along with a gallery of action photos from the game.
