Women look to build on first win
Oxford United Women are back in action tonight as they take on Birmingham City in the Continental Cup.
The U’s roared back after a mid-season break to record an excellent first win of the season at Durham last weekend but now face a Birmingham side who currently top the division above after a 2-0 win over Manchester City.
Manager Les Taylor said:
“It was a fantastic result against Durham and the attitude was spot on from all of the players. We know we will be massive underdogs at Birmingham but it is all about testing yourself and gaining experience at this level. We will give it a real go again.”
The game is at Solihull Moors Autotech Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.

The women then take on Yeovil Town this coming Sunday at Abingdon United, kicking off at 2pm.
