United unveil new Commercial Partners
Oxford United are proud to announce that Cox Wokingham Plastics will become back of home shirt sponsors this season.
CWP are one of the largest plastic thermoforming specialists in the UK and have been working out of Wokingham, Berkshire, for over 70 years. CWP are world leaders in thermoforming plastics - the conversion of sheet plastic into 3D shapes or components.
Andy McGarry, Operations Director of CWP, said:
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support the invigorated Oxford United with their ambition to achieve a level of football excellence more in keeping with a city with the reputation of Oxford. We have no doubt that this achievement will require some luck but our sponsorship reflects the belief in the team both on and off the pitch that Oxford United now has.”
They join front of shirt sponsors Black n Rounds on the new-look United home kit and Commercial Director Tony Davison welcomed CWP to the club:
“CWP are a well-respected international company and we are very excited to be working with them. As with Black n Rounds, these are important commercial revenues for the club but they are also great new partnerships which we look forward to developing over the course of the season.”
The new-look home shirts, complete with Black n Rounds, are on sale now and the U’s will wear the CWP logo for the first time on Saturday when they kick off their Sky Bet League 2 season at home to Burton Albion.
