United work with local clubs.
Local football clubs now have a new way to support Oxford United and benefit local youth football with the launch of a new season ticket campaign in conjunction with our 14 youth partner clubs.
Partner clubs can earn themselves a proportion of the income from sales by signing up their members for Oxford’s 2013-14 campaign. Clubs who sell 10 or more season tickets will keep 10% of the income, those who sell 25 tickets keep 20% and those who sell 50 season tickets earn 30%.
In addition, clubs who sell more than 25 tickets will get their season tickets delivered at their ground by an Oxford United player and the top-selling club will be able to attend an Oxford United training session.
James Peterson, United’s Group Ticket Sales Executive said: “We are really excited about this new initiative which puts our partner clubs in the main frame.
“Not only will this contribute to the amount of people coming through the gates, it will also help local clubs push on to reach the biggest percentage back. This is just another step in the right direction of making a difference at community level in Oxford.”
Nathan Franks, chairman of our first partner club Abingdon Youth FC, said: “Abingdon Youth are proud to be the first partner club to launch the new season ticket incentive scheme with OUFC. This offers a great benefit to both Abingdon Youth and the supporters of Oxford United.
“As we are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year since being founded in 1963 it is a great opportunity to celebrate in conjunction with OUFC and this offer is great for our OUFC-supporting members and players.”
