Buzzing for Bees

Manager looks ahead to tonight's game

United take on Barnet tonight with boss Chris Wilder looking for two wins from a big week. the U's face the Bees tonight then welcome Chesterfield to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday and the United boss is looking for six points from two big home games.

"It's definitely a big week for us" Chris told Yellow Player. "The last two home games just show what football is like. In the space of two  home games we had the highs of the Port Vale game and the desperate lows against Rotherham. All credit to the players for the reaction and the way  they answered everything out on the pitch on Saturday after that game.

"Now we have two home games which we will be expected  to win by our supporters and we have to banish the memories of the mad 15 minutes by being really positive , first of all on Tuesday night."

United will be without the injured Tony Capaldi who suffered a back injury in the win at Torquay but have Liam Davis available again after illness. "Tony will miss but we get Liam back so that's one out and one in" said Chris.

United have had the better of meetings between the two clubs this season but Barnet are much improved and will be difficult opponents for the U's:

"We go to a lot of games and we bump into a lot of managers, and we speak to managers over the phone" Chris told us, "and everyone has been impressed with Barnet. The second game against them was particularly tough and even though Johnny Mullins managed to hit both posts deep into injury time it was a tight affair.

" They have managed to pick up some really good results. I think that the situation there is looking up and they are looking to get out of it whereas I think there are a lot of teams that have been sucked in to that bottom third of the league  and it will be worrying. They will be positive after good performances away from home and  an excellent win on Saturday so we know it is going to be a good game against a good side."
