Local clubs back the U's
Local partner clubs are backing the U’s as Oxford United roll out the United We Stand season ticket scheme. For the first time ever, partner clubs are able to sell season tickets internally and if they reach a certain number, they will receive a percentage back. Clubs are already jumping on board and there is a competition to see which club can sell the most tickets.
Local club Kidlington Youth have taken to their website to help drum up interest and several other clubs are following suit. All partner clubs are being provided this week with posters, flyers and other information to help promote the special scheme. You can have a look at Kidlington Youth’s website here for more information: http://www.kidlingtonyouthfc.co.uk/
Partner Officer James Peterson said: 'Oxford United has always had a strong backing when it comes to season tickets, however this season we wanted to introduce something a bit different. We have 14 clubs affiliated to us, including some of the biggest in the county. We have developed very strong links within these clubs and the biggest thing they wanted to see was a reward scheme. Not only will this benefit the gates during the season, it will also help clubs raise money for kit and equipment'.
