Tickets selling well for opening league fixture
The first day of sale saw over 1,000 tickets sold for United's opening game of the season at Portsmouth.
Tickets went on sale to season ticket holders from 9.30am on Monday for the game at Fratton Park on Saturday 3rd August and fans queued in the sunshine to book their place to see The U's at Pompey.
Just under 1,000 tickets are still on sale for the Milton Road Stand, one per season ticket, and these are available to personal callers or by calling 01865 337533 or visiting www.oufctickets.co.uk
Please note that this game is ALL TICKET with none available on the day of the game.
Tickets are also on sale for Saturday's home pre-season game against Birmingham City, priced just £10 adults, and for the home friendly game against Coventry City on Saturday 27th when Oxford United juniors can watch the game for just £1

Oxford United fans have been allocated 2,000 tickets in the Milton Road Stand and 5 wheelchair + carer spaces, with the home supporters at the front of the Fratton End.
Due to the high demand for tickets, a strict selling procedure has been put in place:
Season ticket holders (1 per season ticket) – Monday 15th July 9.30 – Saturday 20th July

Supporters please not that rows A-G in the Milton End are unsuitable for anyone under 5’4” due to a wall at the front of the stand. Please advise when booking your ticket if this is unsuitable.
No alcohol will be served in the away section due to the fact that this area is in sight of the pitch and alcohol is prohibited.
TRAVEL (By car, 86 miles from Oxford)
Continue along the M27 eastbound (ignoring the M275 turn off for Portsmouth city centre) on to the A27. At the junction with the A2030 turn right towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

Travelling by rail
Once at Fratton Station, exit via the footbridge and turn left onto Goldsmith Avenue. Continue for approximately half a mile and Frogmore Road is on your left. Fratton Park is situated at the bottom.
Parking spaces are very limited but the club does offer free spaces to wheelchair users provided they hold a valid ticket for the wheelchair section and a blue badge. The postcode for parking is PO4 8SX.
