TEAM NEWS
Manager Liam Gilbert said:

“I expect Birmingham to be a very organised team, very quick and a very good challenge. It will be a different one from Sunday because we will be facing youth players, but they are very good youth players.

"It will be good to see how we fare against a different type of challenge.”

THE STORY SO FAR
United Women got their first 90 minutes of match fitness in the tank last weekend with the visit of newly promoted Wolves Women, being defeated 2-1 on Sunday despite a goal from winger Daisy McLachlan.

The U’s second pre-season friendly versus Birmingham will provide further opportunity for United’s new arrivals to further take on board their new surroundings as all five summer signings featured last time out.
