Oxford United Women are delighted to announce the signing of Molly Peters, an exciting forward player previously at Lewes.
The pacy Peters spent time at West Ham and Enfield before signing for Lewes last year. With United’s newest addition having the ability to play across the front three, Peters’ versatility will be a huge asset for the team.
Manager Liam Gilbert told us:
“Molly will bring a different dynamic, as she’s got natural pace and can also play in a number of roles, and she’s really looking forward to being part of the team.”
“She’s got on really well with the girls in training, so now it will be exciting to see her in action and see what chemistry she has with the rest of the players during games.”
Likewise, Molly spoke of how smoothly the move has been since meeting her new teammates for the very first time.
“I came down to Oxford to see what things are like, and I loved it. I’ve been training with the squad and I’ve got to say that they are all a really lovely bunch. It’s been great.”
“I’m raring to just get into the side and playing football again. I’m here to enjoy my football, and if we can win as many games as we can then that’sa win-win.”
“I want to help the team finish as high as we possibly can in the league, and score as many goals as I can along the way.”
