Oxford United Women are at home on Sunday when they take on Crawley Wasps in the second round of the Women’s National League Cup.
Having beaten Actonians by two goals to one earlier this season, OUWFC are looking forward to the game as Manager Liam Gilbert told us
"I'm really looking forward to the game against Crawley, it'll be a great test for us against an in-form side. We were all disappointed about the Coventry game so we are looking to put things right and get back to winning ways in what will be a challenging game this Sunday."
For their part, Wasps, currently second in Women’s National League Division One, South East with a game in hand, are playing their first season in the fourth tier having been promoted last season from the London and South East Regional League. Having beaten Ipswich Town 8-0 in the last round, they will be tough opposition as Ellie Noble who scored a brace in the last round told us
“We would love to have a cup run this season and we've got a great group of players and staff so we know we are in the best position possible to do that!”
