Since returning permanently in January, Stan Mills has kicked on from where he left off in his Oxford United career.
After his loan spell was cut short following a year-long injury, once back to fitness, Mills re-signed for the U's in January and is back amongst the goals following his first strike against QPR last Wednesday.
A former Leeds United youth team player, and son of Danny Mills who spent five years at Elland Road, the winger has plenty of his own connections with the Whites and is looking forward to facing the side top of the table.
He said: "The mood at the moment is really good. We know that we're close to achieving what we want to do.
"There are four more games to go, but we've got to start right on Friday night. If we can get three points against Leeds United then it's a big step in the right direction.
"Recently, all the games have been significant, but the last one against Sheffield Wednesday felt slightly more so. Particularly as it was my second start and then we got a really big three points together.
"That performance was amazing and the scenes at the end were brilliant. It doesn't get much bigger than Friday night now. Leeds are a massive Club, so to have them here under the lights, it's going to be special."
