Oxford United welcome Blackburn Rovers to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday (3:00pm kick off) for their first home game of 2025.
United's second away game of the season, in August, was a 2-1 defeat at Ewood Park after the U's had taken the lead with a spectacular Mark Harris long-range volley.
OXFORD UNITED
United come into the game unbeaten in their last five league games and with wins in their previous two home matches.
New signing Tom Bradshaw will be hoping for his Oxford debut, but Tyler Goodrham serves the second of his three-game suspension and skipper Elliott Moore remains side-lined through injury.
BLACKBURN ROVERS
Following their 3-0 win over Portsmouth on Wednesday, Rovers climbed into the play-off places. That was their first win in six league matches, although they did beat Middlesbrough in the Emirates FA Cup last Saturday.
Striker Andi Weimann scored in both the Boro and Pompey games and told Blackburn's official website: “We knew January would be a busy month with plenty of points up for grabs.
“I hope we can get more points, but it’s about being in it and being in contention towards the end of the season with something to play for.
“Every game is big and there are always three points to gain in every match.”
TICKETS AND TRAVEL
Tickets for the game have now SOLD OUT.
There are 2,000 free car-park places at the stadium, but these fill up very quickly so please get to the ground early if you intend to park there. There are marked bays along Grenoble Road east of the ground but do not park in the restricted residential areas close to the ground or on the grass verges.
The gate behind the Planet IT North Stand will be closed before and after the game, meaning there will be no through-route between that way.
For public transport options and Football Special buses, please see Getting to the Kassam Stadium.
