Oxford United travel to Turf Moor this evening for their rearranged Championship game against Burnley. The sides fought out a goalless draw at the Kassam Stadium in September.
This is United's first visit to Burnley since December 1999, when the Clarets won 3-2, although the previous meeting, in January 1996, ended 2-0 in Oxford's favour.
OXFORD UNITED
United will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run under Gary Rowett to ten games following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Bristol City. That run includes four draws and a win on the road.
With no game this Saturday, Rowett might be tempted to refrain from making any changes to that side, but with no further injury concerns he has plenty of options to consider. Elliott Moore and Ben Nelson remain sidelined, but otherwise the first-team squad has a clean bill of health.
BURNLEY
Burnley are third in the table have yet to taste defeat on their home ground this season and haven't lost at all since 3 November, a run that stretches for 18 games in all competitions. That run includes seven goalless draws, including their last two games, against Leeds United at home and Portsmouth away.
Scott Parker does have some injuries to his squad, with Josh Brownhill and Luca Koleosho both missing the trip to Fratton Park on Saturday. Definitely out are long-term injured players Nathan Redmond, Aaron Ramsey, Enoch Agyei and Jordan Beyer, while Mike Tresor is also unfit to play.
Burnley signed two players on deadline day yesterday: wingers Jaydon Banel from Ajax and Marcus Edwards on loan from Sporting, adding to previous January signings Oliver Sonne, Jonjo Shelvey and former United striker Ashley Barnes.
