Oxford United surprised a local primary school in Blackbird Leys for the second time in a few months, as the Club alongside principal partners Baxi visited Pegasus Primary to hand deliver Christmas presents.
It follows on from a Year 6 class at the school visiting the Oxford United Training Ground in October, as they were surprised by being included in the official Men’s Team squad photo for the season.
The relationship between Club and school continues to flourish, as earlier this week, Club legend James Constable was joined by mascot Olly the Ox, and Baxi’s mascot Baxter, to visit the school during this festive period.
With Christmas just around the corner, the trio went round each of the classes in the school to deliver a bag of presents to more than 200 children, with Baxi providing their own special gifts.
Constable then took the opportunity to present the school’s football team with a signed shirt from the Men’s squad, as well the team photo from October which the class were involved in.
Thank you to Pegasus Primary for allowing the Club to come in to the school, and to principal partners Baxi for their support.
