Oxford United Women are delighted to announce the signing of both Izzy Bryant and Nicole Barrett.

Izzy has joined for the rest of the season on loan from fellow league side Ipswich Town, while Nicole has arrived from Portsmouth, also on loan.

The pair will now help United for the remainder of the campaign, as the side currently sit sixth with a trip to face Cheltenham Town today.

Head Coach, Sam Rose, said: “Nicole is a very good player who knows this league. We saw first have what she is capable of last season.

" She joins having gained experience from the Women’s Championship with Portsmouth, and as well as her quality, she will be an important player for us.

"Between now and the end of the season, we’ve got ground to make up, so strengthening the squad in certain areas has been a priority. We’re pleased to have been able to bring Nicole in to help us to do that.

“Issy is an exciting talent. She’s quick, direct and eager to get minutes on the pitch to show what she can do at this level. We’ve missed Ruby, since losing her to a longer term injury before Christmas, so it was important to bring a wide player in of Issy’s profile, to give us more options going forward.

"It’s key that any players we bring in at this point of the season improve us. And with Issy, and Nicole, we feel they will do just that.”
