It was Cameron Brannagan's wonder strike which earned Oxford United a crucial point away to Cardiff City on Easter Monday, as the sides drew 1-1.

The trip to Wales was always going to be a pivotal game in the race to secure Championship survival, going up against Aaron Ramsey's side who themselves were in need of a victory.

After the game, Gary Rowett and Cameron Brannagan gave their post-match views to OUTV, with the Head Coach delighted to give the away following something to celebrate.

He said: "It's really important to give the support something. They stuck with us again as they could have really easily been disappointed with the performance, and I'm sure they were like me at 60 minutes, just wanting the team to start.

"We never really got started and I think that was the frustrating bit, but they stuck with us, they gave the players an incredible reception at the end of the game.

"I think they can see a team that are trying everything. I think we just fell a little bit short in moments today, but again, that's football, isn't it?

"One moment can change a game, one moment of quality can change a game, and Cammy stepped up to do it, so pretty pretty fitting for him to snatch us a point."
