Oxford United's Manor Club resumed for the 2024/25 season and it was a roaring success, with a sold-out crowd in attendance to join club legends Malcolm Shotton and Peter Rhoades-Brown.
Running for the last seven years, the Manor Club welcomes supporters aged over 50 on the first Wednesday of every month to meet a legend from the club's past or a current star of the side.
Taking place at Cowley Workers Sports and Social Club, the Manor Club has grown from strength to strength and is a vital place for United fans to come together and enjoy a buffet lunch and bar.
After a short summer break, the first event of the new season took place earlier this week, and record numbers were seen in Cowley to welcome 1986 Milk Cup-winning captain Malcolm Shotton for a Q&A led by Peter Rhoades-Brown.
With more than 100 in attendance, it was a special trip down memory lane going back over United's most memorable moments during the most successful time in the club's history.
The event is supported by Oxford United in the Community, with plans in place to create more events across Oxfordshire for those who can not make it down to Cowley Workers Club. And this year we are kindly supporters by Pye Charitable Trust.
Events run at the start of every month and tickets for the next Manor Club in October can be purchased now, priced at £7. All proceeds from the event will support Oxford United in the Community's work to inspire happier, healthier and better-connected communities.
You can purchase tickets online, in person at the ticket office, or over the phone.
