Ruby Sealey joins Oxford United Women

Oxford United Women are pleased to announce the signing of forward Ruby Sealey from Billericay Town Women.

Ruby becomes the second signing of the week as Sam Rose looks to bolster his attacking options for the new season with the addition of the versatile forward.

Sealey joins the U’s having won Player’s Player and Supporter’s Player of the season at the Essex based side last season, scoring eight times in 24 appearances.

Ruby told OUFC.co.uk

“I’m really excited to be here ive had a few calls with Sam and he made me feel wanted and explained where the club want to go and I thought that suits my ambitions as a player too.

“I can play as a striker or on the wing. I’m fast and I like the ball at my feet to take players on one-on-one. When I’ve played Oxford before the way the team pass the ball and the goals that they score make it really exciting for me to get involved with that.

Sam Rose said

“Ruby is an exciting young player who already has significant experience at WNL level.

“She’s athletic, direct and wants to take players on. We’re really pleased she’s joined us and we look forward working with her.”
