Josh Murphy continued his impressive form with another goal in United’s 2-0 win away at Port Vale on Saturday.
We caught up with the U’s winger after the game.
“I think we dominated the game from start to finish. We probably would have liked a few more goals to kill the game off earlier than we did, but we've come away here after a difficult week from Tuesday and with a good bounce back and a good performance.
“I think everyone knew that Tuesday wasn't acceptable and it's not what we're about, as players and as a football club. So, I think to come here, knowing it was going to be difficult, and start the game the way that we did and then control it was very good.
“I’m really enjoying my football at the minute; I get to play with freedom and I'm feeling fit which has really helped, and I think just being allowed to express myself is the main thing.
“We have to back this up now with another win because if we don't win next week, then this will have been for nothing ultimately. I think now we enjoy the win and go into the international break in the play off spots, work hard and then come back after the break and pick up more points."
