This week, Oxford United’s Men’s First Team players have rallied together to donate chocolate Easter Eggs to community groups in Oxfordshire ahead of Easter Sunday.
The club have been working with Oxford United in the Community to deliver these eggs to the most appropriate groups this week, in the hope of putting smiles on the faces of families and individuals going through difficult times.
Easter Eggs will be delivered to the following Oxford-based charities:
Trax: An alternative provision, based in Oxfordshire, providing a safety net for young vulnerable people, aged between 11 and 18.
Clean Slate: They provide a service that empowers, builds self-esteem, and develops the talking and coping skills of victims of abuse. The organisation supports male and female victims of physical, sexual, mental, emotional, and financial abuse regardless of age, race, culture, or sexuality. Their aim is to improve mental health and build healthy pathways for the future, for clients and their families.
The Hill Community and Sports Centre: Provides courses and sessions for all ages in the community. They host the Community’s Premier League Kicks programme with Oxford United in the community coaches every Friday evening (term time only).
