Oxford United Women return to action on Sunday when they make the long trip to Plymouth in the National League Southern Premier Division.
The Development side stepped in to help the U’s reach the next round of the County Cup last Sunday but the first team play for the first time in two weeks as they look to make it six wins in a row.
New signing Nic Gibson is likely to be involved and boss Sam Rose is looking forward to the trip
“It’s a long journey but we will prepare properly and we will be ready. We had a very close game in the FA Cup at Plymouth just before Christmas, losing on penalties so we know what Plymouth are all about and we know it will be another close game. We created chances that day and have to learn lessons from it and hopefully make amends on Sunday.
“We had a break over Christmas having won the last game before that we then did really well and won the first one after as well so we are in good form. We are on the front foot in games, pressing well and taking the game to teams. We are making progress as a team and we want to keep that going on Sunday.”
The game is at Coach Road, Newton Abbott, TQ12 1EL. With a 2pm Kick Off.
Ticket's cost £5 with concessions £3 and U16s FREE. Pay on the gate.
