PREVIEW Coventry City v Oxford United

Oxford United head for Coventry City on Saturday in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round

Over 3,000 Oxford fans will be backing their team in the lunchtime kick-off (12.30pm)

TEAM NEWS
Jordan Thorniley should be able to return to the squad after a back spasm kept him out at Charlton in the last game. The defender has recovered well and is hoping to be involved while Stan Mills is fit again after dropping to the bench at the Valley where Billy Bodin made his return from injury.

Sam Long, Stephan Negru, Greg Leigh, Marcus Browne, Kyle Edwards and Josh Murphy are again ruled out and young forward Max Woltman was involved last time out with the possibility of further young faces among the subs in a competition that allows nine on the bench.

OPPOSITION
Leading scorer Haji Wright should be available despite going off injured at Middlesbrough. The 25-year-old striker was forced off after scoring his eighth goal of the season to help his team to a 3-1 win that moved Mark Robins’ side up to eighth in the Championship table but is expected to be available.

However loan player Yasin Ayari has been recalled by his parent club Brighton and immediately gone on loan to Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers for the second half of the season.
