PREVIEW Oxford United v Reading

Oxford United welcome Reading to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday in Sky Bet League 1 (12.30pm)

The U's have had a busy week with a draw against leaders Portsmouth and then new faces arriving on Deadline Day. They now welcome Reading to the Kassam Stadium for the first time in the league.

TEAM NEWS
New faces Owen Dale and Jay Matete go straight into the squad after arriving from Blackpool and Sunderland on Deadline Day. The pair are match fit and will be hoping for a first opportunity but may have to be patient after Tuesday night's performance.

Jamie Cumming and Fin Stevens are doubts after going off against Portsmouth. Simon Eastwood stands by if Chelsea loanee Cumming is unavailable while the versatile Oisin Smyth did a good job in place of Stevens on Tuesday.

Sam Long, Will Goodwin, Billy Bodin and Josh Murphy are all close to a return but may have to wait for the trip to Blackpool next Saturday.
