Des Buckingham was thrilled to watch his side secure another emphatic victory as they defeated Burton Albion 4-0, now he's called on the support to continue to bring their passion and all to be united for the final games of the season.
The impressive result at Burton on Saturday secured back-to-back 4-0 wins for United and saw the team climb back into the play-off positions.
Now, as we head into three huge home games in six days, the manager hopes the energy and enthusiasm from the supporters can continue to create a united front and keep the team in the play-off spots.
Speaking after the game, he said: “We spoke about a squad arriving at this point in a strong position, with players coming back.
“It was a very enjoyable afternoon, with four goals again. We showed that cutting edge and clinical side that was missing for a little bit.
“We knew that would come, but now it’s about making sure we continue through. We’ve got a good and exciting week coming up with three home games, and we all need to be together – fans, staff and players."
