PREVIEW Oxford United v Exeter City

Oxford United welcome Exeter City to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday in Sky Bet League 1 (3pm)

United, in fourth, take on the second placed Grecians in League 1's game of the day.

TEAM NEWS
United are without striker Mark Harris who serves the second game of his three-match ban following a straight red card in the home game against Port Vale. However Greg Leigh has served his one-match ban after being sent off for a second yellow in the same game and he competes with Ciaron Brown for the left-back slot.

James Beadle, Elliott Moore, Cameron Brannagan, Marcus McGuane, Kyle Edwards, Billy Bodin and Stan Mills were all rested for the Trophy game against MK Dons on Tuesday and are back in contention while James Henry is expected back in to full traning next week and Gatlin O'Donkor is not far behind, as Liam Manning told iFollow.

"Jamo is getting close. He should be fully involved next week and Marcus Browne is making good progress too. We had encouraging results from a report on his injury this week. It won't be any time soon but he is doing well. Gatlin is back out on the pitches too and that will increase competition at the top end of the pitch too."

THE OPPOSITION
Gary Caldwell's side have won four of their last five in League One and have the chance to win three in a row away from home but Caldwell expects a stern test on Saturday:

"I think Oxford have started really well and I think they're one of the bigger teams in this league," he said." It'll be challenging but we've been to Wycombe, Carlisle and Burton and shown we are capable of winning on the road, and we know what that takes.

"We're looking forward to a really big challenge. I've had a look at them and think they are a lot more pragmatic than I thought they would be, I thought they'd be more expansive.

"We know what they are good at and how they will try to hurt us, but as in every game we believe we can cause the opposition a lot of problems."
