The U’s celebrated another fantastic 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon against Exeter City, which was the club’s dedicated Her Game Too fixture supporting the fight against sexist abuse in football. Here is the roundup from our first activation of the campaign:
Interacting with Supporters On Her Game Too
Oxford United’s Her Game Too representative Grace Bailey was present outside the South Stand ahead of the game talking with supporters and handing out information about the campaign.
Appreciation For Our Women’s Development Squad
Players and staff from the Women’s Development Squad were present outside the South Stand engaging with supporters and handing out free tickets to their upcoming game against Ipswich Town Women at Court Place Farm. The squad was joined by Olivia the Ox who was taking lots of pictures with young supporters.
Members of the Women’s Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) watched the Men’s First Team warm-up ahead of KO followed by a lap of appreciation at half-time.

The Tunes Were Flowing Pre-Match
We asked supporters to send in their favourite songs by female artists and we saw a fantastic number of requests. The playlist included Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Tina Turner, Becky Hill, and many more successful female artists in the music industry.

Sky Sports presenter Jo Wilson came down to the Training Ground to speak with Liam Manning and Elliott Moore about all things football. They both spoke on how the start to the season has gone, the Exeter game, and the Her Game Too campaign.
