Oxford United welcome Bristol Rovers to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday (12.30pm) looking to continue their excellent recent form.
The U’s have scored three goals in each of their last four league games, conceding only one, but as Boss Liam Manning told iFollow, there is always room for improvement:
“We have been really good in the last four games” he said “but we haven’t achieved anything yet. After Tuesday night the players were really happy to talk about where we can improve and tighten up. You always strive to be better and to keep improving, whether you have just won or lost. You want to keep the confidence and the belief but you also want to keep fine tuning things.
“That’s especially true in this division where you can be caught out by any team on the day.
“Bristol Rovers will be a massive test for us. They are a good side, well coached and they know what they are doing with and without the ball. Their fans will be noisy and supportive so that’s the challenge for ours: can you outsing them all game and inspire us like you have done all season.”
You can see the full interview with Liam in iFollow, along with the thoughts of Cameron Brannagan.
