Family Day 2023: The Round-Up 

The U’s battled to a 1-1 draw with Blackpool on Saturday afternoon for the club’s dedicated Family Day fixture that saw an impressive home attendance in OX4 as the crowds continue to grow. Here’s the Family Day round-up:

We welcomed a number of entertainment brands into our Family Zone on Saturday filled with lots of exciting activities for our young U’s to engage ahead of the game.

Smash Padel 
Nationwide sports brand Smash Padel hosted a small-sided padel game to introduce U’s fans to the increasingly popular game.

Free Face Painting for Fans 
Yellow Bird Face Painting was busy leading up to kick-off adding yellow and blue stripes to United’s youngsters to get them in the mood ahead of the clash with the Tangerines.

Lights, Camera, Action 
Oxford New Theatre brought a custom-made Instagram board for supporters to dress up and pose for pictures, as well as promote their upcoming shows in the city centre.

EA FC24 Goal Of The Day 
Gaming Parties Gaming Van was parked outside the South Stand running a ‘Best Goal’ competition to win a Mark Harris and Marcus McGuane EA FC24 signed card.

Partyman World was also painting Oxford United’s colours onto our Young U’s faces ahead of the game. Cosmo their purple dinosaur mascot was also in the Family Day spirit who was taking pictures with supporters around the ground.

UK Football Freestylers In Town 
Luca Placintino and Harvey Cameron, UK football freestylers, showed off their incredible skills to supporters in the Family Zone ahead of the game and supplied the half-time entertainment on the pitch.

United’s Furry Friends 
United’s mascots Olly and Olivia were posing for pictures all afternoon with supporters outside the South Stand and over in the Family Area ahead of kick-off.   
 
Half-Price Ticket Offer For Season Ticket Holders
