Oxford United U18s take on Sutton United U18s in the Second Round of the FA Youth Cup tonight (17th November).
Kick off is at 7PM at Oxford City’s Court Place Farm and tickets cost £6 for Adults and £3 for Over 65s and Under 18s.
The U’s will look to make it to the third round of the competition in which last season they broke records, reaching the quarter finals for the first time in club history.
Academy Manager Stevie Kinniburgh said
“It’s a fantastic competition for the boys. Last season everyone remembers the team beating Leeds and Cardiff and travelling up to Man City. Those were wonderful nights, and the performances were outstanding.
“But to earn that sort of tie you have to come through some tough battles first. We had one of those in the first round against Bridgwater, but the boys stood up to it and did well.
“We know what Sutton are about having gone their last season in the Merit League, and we know it’ll be a physically demanding game. We also know that the staff work so hard behind closed doors to make sure the boys are ready for whatever test is thrown at them.
“The boys massively appreciate your support on nights like these and will need you to get behind them this year so they can try and make history again".
