PREVIEW Peterborough United v Oxford United

Oxford United head for Peterborough United in Sky Bet League 1 on Saturday (3pm)

The U's have had two weeks without a game due to the international break but that has given them more time to work under new boss Liam Manning after a 1-1 draw at Morecambe in his first game.

TEAM NEWS
.Ciaron Brown returned safely from playing for Northern Ireland while a two week 'mini pre-season' has allowed one or two aches and bruises to heal

However James Henry and Billy Bodin remain sidelined as Liam told iFollow

THE OPPOSITION
Peterborough are in good form with three league wins in a row pushing them to within a point of the play-offs. A win tomorrow would definitely push them into the the top six because Bolton Wanderers are involved in the EFL Trophy Final.

"We’re in a good place,” Manager Darren Ferguson said. “We’re in good form, we look strong and we have no injury problems. From the outside people will look in and expect us to win tomorrow, but I don’t see it like that. We will only win if our attitude is spot on and we play well.

"It could be a very tricky game tomorrow. Oxford have a new manager who has had two weeks now to work with his team. They will be fighting for their lives so we have to be wary of that.”
