The Young U’s face an historic night in the FA Youth Cup tomorrow as they head to Manchester City in the Quarter Finals of the competition for the first time in club history. Kick off is at 7PM at the Manchester City Academy Stadium.
It’s a huge opportunity for the boys, who have excelled in the competition so far, most recently putting three past Premier League side Leeds at the Kassam Stadium to progress to the last eight.
Tickets can be bought online HERE, with coach travel also available for the trip HERE
The game will be streamed for free on the FA Player, but if you can make it, it would be fantastic to see as many U’s' fans as possible in Manchester to support the lads.
Academy Manager Stevie Kinniburgh said
“It’s a wonderful opportunity again to go and showcase themselves on the biggest stage of Youth football in England. When you see what our boys have achieved it’s probably not quite sunk in to everyone in the building – everyone is so proud of how they’ve represented the club.
“We go away to Manchester City and they’ll have some unbelievable talent, but what we’ve got here is a really good core of players, some who have had exposure and experience at a really high level and some really talented individuals. If they can click together on any given night they give themselves a really good chance.
The U’s will travel up tonight and train at Carrington tomorrow morning before the game at Manchester City Academy Stadium in the evening.
