That will be followed by the draw for the EFL Trophy and then the Carabao Cup and those draws are already taking shape.
Firstly in the EFL Trophy, to be drawn at 11.30am, the U’s will be in Group F along with Northampton Town and MK Dons plus one of the invited Under 21 sides.
The U’s are guaranteed two home games in the group stage with the invited sides playing all games away.
The invited sides in the Southern Section are:
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
Then in the Carabao Cup, to be drawn at 2.30pm, United are in the Southern side of the draw and will be ball 22
