Oxford United U18s travel to Portsmouth in the Youth Alliance League tomorrow morning. Kick off is at 11 AM at the Pompey Health and Fitness Club.
The home side currently sit third in the South West Division, three places and twelve points above the U’s having played two more games.
Oxford will be hoping to do the double over Pompey, who they beat 2-1 in the reverse fixture in September thanks to second half goals from Gatlin O’Donkor and Enrique Tiamuna.
Coach Pablo Haysham told us
“It’ll be a tough test away to a strong side who have had some good results of late. We’ve done our analysis and there’s a really good atmosphere amongst the boys at the minute after some very good performances.
“It’s now about keeping the momentum going and we feel confident that we can get a result in Portsmouth on the weekend.
