U19s Chance To Make Historic Quarter Finals

Oxford United U19s could make even more history tomorrow night, when they play in the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup against Premier League Leeds United.

Kick off is at 7PM at the Kassam Stadium and tickets can be bought HERE

The U’s are making their first ever appearance in the Fifth Round, and have been excellent so far in the competition, winning every game 3-1. If they beat Leeds, they'll enter into the quarter finals of the tournament for the first time.

There were almost 500 Oxford fans at the Kassam Stadium against Cardiff City, and the boys will need your support again to help them try to make club history once more.

The winner of the tie will play either Manchester City or Fleetwood Town U19s, who play tonight.

Academy Manager Stevie Kinniburgh told us

“Leeds are a big historical football club and they do well with their academy. They’re a Category One Academy and they get the pick of the bunch from their area. Wednesday will be a great experience for us, and one that we are confident the boys can stand up to the test of, and show why they’ve got to this stage in the tournament.”
