PREVIEW Oxford United v Bristol Rovers

Oxford United welcome Bristol Rovers to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday for a 12.30pm kick-off in Sky Bet League 1.

TEAM NEWS
Tyler Goodrham is in contention after missing the game at Cambridge last Saturday as a precaution after a tight hamstring but former Rovers striker Billy Bodin is again ruled out.

However the reappearance of Marcus Browne at the Abbey Stadium plus Sam Baldock and James Henry for the last couple of games gives the U's valuable experience and attacking options.

See a full interview with Karl, Simon Eastwood and Ateef Konate in the Preview Show plus a chat with Kyle Joseph in iFollow right now.

THE OPPOSITION
Rovers will have centre-back Lewis Gibson and midfielder Sam Finley back from injury and suspension respectively.

Everton loanee Gibson has been absent for seven games and Rovers have been without a win for that run, while Finley returns after suspension for a red card against MK Dons.

"They have trained this week, so they definitely improve the group and give us a couple of different options in there," Manager Joey Barton said. "They bring a lot more maturity. The way both of them play, you want them in your group and your team, especially when you are in a tough moment like we are now."
