PREVIEW Gillingham U18 v Oxford United U18

Oxford United's Under 18s travel to Gillingham this evening in the FA Youth Cup Third Round

The game will be played at Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium with a 7pm kick off

TEAM NEWS
United have Aidan Elliott-Wheeler available under the terms of his work experience loan at Banbury United and forwards Louis Griffiths and Leo Snowden have both made senior debuts this season after stepping up from the under 16 squad.

FROM THE DUG OUT
"We're all looking forward to it" Coach Pablo Haysham told us. "We've worked hard in those two games so far and now we get to play at a Football League ground against a Gillingham side who I am sure will be looking to impress on that stage.

"We have prepared properly and it feels like things have been building towards this game for a while - it's  our last game before the lads get a break over Christmas. So we will go there, give it everything and hopefully it's enough to get us through to the next round."

THE OPPOSITION
The Gills beat Eastleigh 3-1 in the last round at Priestfield having defeated Ware in round one.

Gillingham under-18s lost 2-0 to MK Dons in the Youth Alliance League on Saturday and drew 3-3 with Brentford’s youth side the week before that.

TICKETS
Kick off tonight is at 7pm with adult tickets costing £5 and under-18s £3. Fans can watch in the lower section of the Medway Stand. We hope to stream the game - full details will be right here and on our social channels when we arrive at the ground.

We'll have full coverage on all social channels and a Match Report right here on the final whistle.

THE STORY SO FAR
The U's have overcome Bridgwater and Sutton United in the previous rounds and will be looking to emulate last season's record breaking run to the quarter finals.

NEXT ROUND
The winners of tonight's game will play Sunderland at home in the next round.
