Oxford United head for Forest Green Rovers tonight as the Bristol Street Motors Trophy reaches the knockout stages.
TEAM NEWS
United have a history of giving young players a chance in this competition with Leo Snowden breaking the record for the club's youngest ever player when he came on against Chelsea in the last game, breaking a record set by fellow youth team forward Louis Griffiths at Northampton earlier in this year's competition.
However, new Boss Des Buckingham must also weigh up giving senior payers an opportunity to show what they can do with the likes of Oisin Smyth, Simon Eastwood and Alex Gorrin yet to play since the change of management and Joe Bennett keen to be involved for the first time since joining on a short-term deal last week.

THE OPPOSITION
Rovers topped their group unbeaten with a win over Shrewsbury Town, a shoot-out win against Walsall and a goalless draw against Brighton Under 21s.
“After a successful group stage, we are excited about the challenge ahead. We want to go as far as possible in this competition” goalkeeper Jamie Searle told FGR’s official website.
“As a team, we can take positives from the groups, but in the knockout stages, we have to build on it. It’s going to be a tough game going up against a League One opposition who are flying quite high. We’ve got our fans behind us. As long as we have them and their backing we can put a result together because we know what we can do at home."
