Oxford United face Portsmouth on Tuesday 18th April and we look forward to welcoming former U’s midfielder and now Premier League star, Shandon Baptiste into the restaurant for the evening.
Shandon joined the U’s in 2015 as a scholar progressing through the academy ranks making his first team debut in 2017 in the EFL Trophy.
He was a key player in the first half of United’s 2019/20 campaign, being heavily involved in the U’s cup run to the quarter-finals of the EFL cup, scoring in a 4-0 victory over West Ham, and captaining the team against Manchester City in the quarter-finals.
Baptiste went on to sign for then Championship side Brentford where he is currently enjoying his football in the top flight of English football.
