PREVIEW Oxford United v Sheffield Wednesday

Oxford United welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Kassam Stadium on Good Friday (3pm)

It's Head Coach Liam Manning's first home game and a bumper Easter crowd is expected to see if the U's can build on two encouraging draws away from home as they look to pull away from danger.

TEAM NEWS
The U's have no new injury worries and looked very solid at Peterborough last weekend.

"They worked hard and have continued to do that all week in training" Liam Manning told iFollow. "It has been a really positive week again but we need to take that into matchday and do all we can to win the game.

"I'm looking forward to my first home match. I'm not one for huge shows of emotion but I will be very proud to be there in the dugout and I want to fans to really get behind the team. We have five massive home games left and if we can have that noise and encouragment at all of them then obviously it is going to be a huge  help."

THE OPPOSITION
The Owls remain top of the league despite a five-game winless run. A 1-1 draw with Lincoln City last weekend kept them top but Plymouth are level on points and Ipswich Town are two points further behind with the chasing pair both having a game in hand.

With seven games remaining the Owls will target Friday as a game they need to win but midfielder George Byers, forward Josh Windass, Callum Paterson, and Michael Ihiekwe are all likely to miss out through injury
