Didcot Town FC Under 8s Reds
Formed in 2021, the team currently play in the Oxfordshire Under 8s A league under the guidance of manager Chris Ellis and coaches Liam Robinson and JR Willis. Not forgetting, of course, the unwavering commitment of the parents.
The team promotes enjoyment but also aims to teach sportsmanship, morals, and behaviour skills that will stand the children in good stead for years to come.
They got off to a great start in their first season, finishing in the A league, reaching two cup finals and winning the Autumn Gold Supplementary Trophy. The 2022/23 season has started well and they have high hopes for the year ahead.
Didcot Town FC Under 8s Whites
Managed by Chris Callaghan with coaches Steve Green and Chris Rees, the team currently play in the Oxfordshire Under 8s league.
Last season the team celebrated winning two trophies, the Bronze Supplementary and the Plate KO Cup. With several new players this season the team will be working hard, both on developing their technical skills and positional sense but also bonding as a team in preparation for the move to 7 a-side next season.
The Didcot Town U8s Reds and Whites have great respect for each other, cheering and supporting each other during the season.
