Oxford United youngster Slavi Spasov has joined National League North outfit Banbury United on loan for a month.
The 20-year-old made his senior debut for the U’s in 2018, when he became the club’s youngest ever scorer after netting from the penalty spot in the then named ‘Checkatrade Trophy’ group stage.
This season’s loan to Banbury United will be the young Bulgarian international’s third spell on loan, having previously joined Woking and North Leigh.
Karl Robinson said: “We wish Slavi the best of luck with this move. It will benefit him to gain more gametime in a senior side and a physical league. He will come back to us as a more experienced player.”
Banbury currently sit third in the National League North, three points behind the league leaders having picked up 21 points from their first 11 games.
