Oxford United’s under 18s are in Premier League Cup action on Saturday when they welcome Luton Town to the Bangkok Glass Training Centre.
The competition is a chance for Category 3 clubs such as the U’s to qualify for the knock out stages and come up against Category 2 clubs and above, as Pablo Haysham explained to us
“It’s a good competition and a chance to play teams you wouldn't normally face. We started well by beating Watford in the first game and now we play against a strong Luton side before our last game is against Colchester
“We have won our last two games and are in good form. The only down side has been an injury to George Franklin who is recovering from a hamstring problem, but otherwise we are in decent shape and hopefully we can get a second win which should see us go through in the competition.”
