Oxford United under 18s were beaten 2-0 at AFC Bournemouth in the EFL Youth Alliance on Saturday.
A young U’s side could find no route to goal as Coach Chris Hackett told us
“It was a decent game, as we knew it would be. We started well and could have been ahead but then we conceded a goal we could probably have done better with and that handed the advantage to Bournemouth.
“We changed things around a bit at half time and had a real go at them but couldn’t take our chances and fair play to Bournemouth who did take theirs. As ever, you learn from every game and we will work hard this week and get ready for the next game, a long trip to Plymouth on Saturday morning.”
