Oxford United’s Under 18s face their longest trip of the season when they travel to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday in the EFL Youth Alliance.
The U’s, fourth in the table, travel to second placed Argyle with Coach Pablo Haysham telling us
“We’ve had a few injuries of late and that has meant chances for the under 16s, which has been great. We have always said that it is these long trips to places like Plymouth where you really have to show character and we need to show a bit of that anyway after losing to the leaders, Bournemouth, last weekend.
“It’s not easy getting up early, making that journey on Saturday and then being ready to play with an early kick-off, but you need to prepare properly and be ready for that challenge.
“The game won't be easy, Plymouth are a strong team, but we think we are a good side as well so it should be a good game.”
