Fireworks weekend is likely to be an explosive one with both United’s youth team and first team in FA Cup action.
The U’s will travel to Woking on Sunday 6th November (2pm) in the Emirates FA Cup, but 24 hours earlier their young stars get a chance to shine when they take on Torquay United in the FA Youth Cup.
That game is a 3pm kick off on Saturday 5th at Court Place Farm, and as Coach Chris Hackett told us, the weekend will be a chance for fans to come along and see how the stars of the future are shaping up:
“It’s great to be playing at 3 o’clock on a Saturday and with the First Team not playing we hope the kick off time means a few Oxford fans will be able to come along and join us. Karl and the whole First team will be coming along and that's great to know we have their support.
“The Youth Cup is a fantastic competition and there always seems to be drama. We’re looking forward to it.”
