Oxford United will be determined not to let the hard work they put in at Woking in the last round go to waste when they welcome Exeter City to the Kassam Stadium in the FA Cup on Saturday.
“The Woking game was dangerous for us” defender Stuart Findlay tells this week’s iFollow Preview Show.
“It was a game against a team in form, away from home and in horrible conditions. I thought we did really well, and the fans were amazing that night. We maybe didn’t dominate the game like we would like to against a team two divisions below but we battled hard and we got through which is all that matters.
“It was a very professional performance and we don’t plan to throw that hard work away on Saturday at home.
“Exeter are a good side, we are under no illusions about that, and they have had a couple of very good performaances since then. We know what they do, we know they do it well, but we also know we are a good side and we are staring to show what we are capable of.
“We have had a good week to build up to the game and after being a bit frustrated to draw last weekend against Forest Green we are determined to get a win on Saturday and get through to the next round.”
Having joined the U’s from the MLS Stuart has plenty of views as England prepare to take on the USA tonight. Hear more on this in the Preview Show.
